Time: Open Daily 8 AM-dusk. This is one of the most picturesque attractions in Miami FL. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area is conveniently located in Miami's Key Biscayne district. This charming Florida Recreation Park offers an array of innovative attractions -- These attractions include fishing, hiking, picnic areas and a superb beach, rated as one of the best beaches in the whole of America. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area also, offers Bicycle and skate rentals, a playground, fishing piers, kayak rentals, guided tours of the cultural complex and the Cape Florida Lighthouse, South Florida's oldest structure. This lighthouse was erected in 1845 to replace an earlier one destroyed in an 1836 Seminole attack, in which the keeper's helper was killed. Recommended to be there a half hour beforehand.
